…Throughout the formative high school years, students are taught standardized a curriculum. This coursework should coincide with what is taught in SAT prep classes, in addition to strategies for taking the test. The SAT Prep Classes help prepare students for the SAT test by evaluating how well they take a practice test demonstrating which areas are their strongest and weakest and targeting particular coaching methods to maximize their score. The test is composed of Critical Reading, Mathematics, and a Writing section. It is different from the ACT in that there are two different tests: the SAT-V and the SAT. Each are similar in their degree of difficulty.

SAT Prep Classes come highly recommended by collegiate admissions officials because they can boost the scores of the students who take them. Also, they provides for a better overall intellect on behalf of the student by subjecting them to strenuous mental exercise. There are prep classes offered by institutions such as Kaplan and the Princeton Review.

Once the student has finished their SAT Prep Classes and takes the SAT, their composite score will be based on a scale of up to 1600 possible points. Students who prepare well and achieve a high score usually look forward to early placement in college accompanied by scholarship.
