…Water makes up approximately 70% of a human body's mass. It's integral for your metabolism, and serves to dilute many bodily fluids. It's recommended by many health experts that your regular daily diet should include eight 8 ounce glasses of water. Though pure (distilled) water is rarely found in nature, and thus is often man-made. Bottled water, or Spring water, is generally obtained from natural underground aqueducts. The most common type of water found today is called, Tap water, and it's supplied by most cities in developed nations and offers basic filteration of water that is received from rivers, lakes, and the ocean. Tap water gets its name from the fact that it comes out of a faucet or tap.

Another type of drink is, Alcohol, a beverage containing ethanol. Alcohol is the primary ingredient in beverages like wine, beer, and liquor all of which have been around an excess of 8,000 years.

Then there are non-alcoholic drinks that are considered such because they contain less than .5 percent alcohol by volume. These include beers and wines that have gone through an alcohol removal process, and some low alcohol beers, wines, and sparkling ciders.

A "soft drink" means that the drink isn't "hard", or containing alcohol. Types of soft drinks include iced tea, lemonade, fruit punch, colas, and sparkling water. Soft drinks are often made with either natural or artificial sweetners and maybe carbonated.
